Research Solutions Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Solutions Analyst at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.

The Research Solutions Analyst is a strategic research and intelligence professional who partners with attorneys and business professionals to deliver high-quality legal and business research, competitive intelligence, customized current awareness, and technology enabled knowledge solutions. The role combines research and legal expertise with automation capabilities to improve how information is discovered, monitored, analyzed, and delivered across the firm.

• →Provide advanced legal, business, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence research.
• →Design and deliver customized current awareness and self-service programs for attorneys, clients, industries, practice groups, and strategic initiatives.
• →Develop automated monitoring, altering, and tracking solutions for legal developments, regulatory changes, litigation activity, client news, market trends, and competitor intelligence.
• →Partner with attorneys and business professionals to integrate research materials into existing workflows and to recommend strategies to improve those workflows as needed.
• →Evaluate, test, and help implement new research, knowledge management, and AI technologies.
• →Serve as a trusted advisor on research strategy, intelligence gathering, and emerging legal technologies.
• →Collaborate with other Innovation, Marketing and Business Development, IT, and other departments on strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s research and intelligence capabilities

• Master of Library Science (MLS) from an accredited school; Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and information resources.
• Strong analytical, communication, and consultative skills.
• Ability to translate attorney and client needs into practical research and intelligence solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, legal research platforms, Microsoft 365, and knowledge management technologies.

• Law firm, legal information provider or professional services experience.
• Experience with competitive intelligence, current awareness, legal technology, workflow automation, or knowledge management.
• Experience evaluating and utilizing generative AI tools within a legal environment.

This is a remote role and the salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The compensation for this position is $90,000 - $125,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors.
