About the role: 

Entry Level Labour perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties. No equipment operating experience is necessary. EVR provides all new employees with extensive internal training. Come experience the opportunities for career growth and advance your knowledge in the mining sector!

The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.

Schedule: 4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nights

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties

Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid class 5 driver’s license

Previous heavy equipment operations or industrial experience is considered an asset

Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.
