~1 min readThe ATP Pharmacy Technician is responsible for monitoring, filling and organizing the medication dispensing of our automated machines. They will also support inventory activities. As well, this person will be held to a high standard of accountability to guarantee the accuracy of the patient’s ExactPacks.
Responsibilities

Process correct bags through the automated machines.

Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.

Responsible for stocking received pharmacy inventory.

Organization of medication shelves and maintain cleanliness of work station.

Ensure station is properly stocked at all times.

Monitor station queues.

Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients.

Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

High school diploma /GED required.
If no prior pharmacy experience, must be committed to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment.
Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
Must be 18+ years of age.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
