Contract Manager

• →Drafts, analyzes, reviews, and negotiates brand marketing and property sales agreements, event services/management agreements, including but not limited to vendor agreements and talent/influencer agreements;
• →Review and negotiate contracts with a focus on risk mitigation, protecting the company from unfavorable terms and liabilities;
• →Manage contract tracking and oversee the end-to-end contract workflow across ESM Brand Marketing and Game Seven teams;
• →Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal and Finance, to streamline contracting workflows;
• →Assist in coordinating and tracking fully executed agreements to ensure proper documentation and accessibility and ensuring proper documentation, filing, and reporting of all agreements and amendments;
• →Proactively follow up with internal teams and external partners on contract status, signatures, and the progress of master agreements and scopes of work;
• →Reviews marketing programs and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable principles, policies, and applicable law;
• →Leads significant projects, both within the legal department and across a variety of functions; and
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school;
• Admission to NY State Bar (preferred);
• 2-4 years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house counsel, or other relevant legal experience.

• Ability to work independently, while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams;
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside counsel, executive and senior management, and business associates;
• Experience in sports, media or entertainment industry law department or at law firm in relevant practice group strongly preferred;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enable interaction with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced business environment (including explaining complex and sensitive concepts to clients and colleagues);
• Solid analytic skills, creative problem-solving abilities and a practical business-oriented viewpoint;
• Meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and produce quality work within deadlines;
• Outstanding drafting and organizational skills; and
• Positive attitude focused on problem solving through a proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
• Presentation skills for purposes of, among other things, advising internal clients on risk assessment and mitigation.
