Senior Analyst – Due Diligence & Open-Source Intelligence

Role Summary 

Exiger Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Analyst to support a U.S. government customer through enhanced due diligence, open-source intelligence research, and third-party risk analysis. 

As part of a dedicated analyst team, you will research companies, individuals, project sponsors, contractors, suppliers, and other third parties involved in complex international business activities. You will identify and assess potential sanctions, corruption, fraud, financial crime, regulatory, reputational, political, ownership, and supply chain risks. Your findings will be translated into clear, concise, and well-supported assessments that help the customer make informed decisions. 

Senior Analysts use Exiger’s industry-leading AI technology, including DDIQ and other 1Exiger capabilities, alongside public records, corporate registries, sanctions data, trade and shipping information, and other open-source resources. This is a client-facing role requiring strong analytical judgment, excellent writing skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to deliver accurate work within demanding timelines. 

What You’ll Do 

• Conduct enhanced due diligence and open-source research on companies, individuals, beneficial owners, project sponsors, contractors, suppliers, and other third parties. 

• Identify and assess risk related to sanctions, bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, political exposure, criminal activity, regulatory enforcement, litigation, adverse media, and reputational concerns. 

• Analyze corporate ownership and control structures, affiliations, business relationships, and other potential indicators of third-party risk. 

• Use DDIQ, 1Exiger, public records, corporate registries, sanctions and watchlist data, and other research tools to identify risk-relevant information. 

• Assess the accuracy, reliability, materiality, and client relevance of information identified through Exiger’s AI-enabled research platforms. 

• Conduct supply chain risk assessments using trade, shipping, ownership, and supplier data when required. 

• Synthesize complex and sometimes conflicting information into clear, concise, and thoroughly sourced written assessments. 

• Distinguish confirmed findings from allegations, unresolved reporting, and information that cannot be independently verified. 

• Manage multiple concurrent research assignments while meeting established quality standards and deadlines. 

• Participate in quality-control and peer-review processes to ensure analytical consistency and accuracy. 

• Communicate directly with customer stakeholders to clarify research requirements, discuss findings, and provide analytical context. 

• Brief customer users on Exiger’s capabilities and advise them on how to use available tools and information effectively. 

• Support the onboarding and training of customer users on Exiger systems. 

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of research methodologies, reporting standards, and analytical workflows. 

What You Need 

• Strong open-source research, investigative, and analytical skills. 

• Experience conducting know-your-customer, enhanced due diligence, third-party risk, or reputational risk research. 

• Understanding of sanctions, bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, fraud, political exposure, regulatory, criminal, and reputational risk. 

• Ability to evaluate the reliability of sources and determine the significance of potentially risk-relevant information. 

• Ability to analyze complex corporate relationships, ownership structures, and cross-border business activity. 

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex research into clear and well-supported conclusions. 

• Strong verbal communication and client-service skills. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to analytical accuracy. 

• Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines. 

• Sound judgment when handling sensitive, incomplete, or conflicting information. 

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. 

• A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of assignments through completion. 

• Comfort learning and using technology-enabled research and analytical platforms. 

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status. 

• Willingness and ability to successfully complete applicable federal background-screening requirements. 

Professional Experience Required 

• Three to five years of professional experience in enhanced due diligence, know-your-customer analysis, investigations, open-source intelligence, compliance, financial crime, third-party risk, supply chain risk, or a closely related field. 

• Demonstrated experience producing written analytical reports for customers, decision-makers, or senior stakeholders. 

• Experience researching companies and individuals operating across multiple countries or jurisdictions. 

• A strong interest in international business, government programs, compliance, supply chain risk, and current geopolitical and economic developments. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting a U.S. government customer or working in a government contracting environment. 

• Experience evaluating organizations and counterparties involved in international trade, infrastructure, development finance, or other cross-border commercial activity. 

• Experience using corporate registries, sanctions and watchlist databases, adverse-media platforms, trade or shipping records, and other specialized investigative resources. 

• Familiarity with beneficial ownership analysis and complex corporate structures. 

• Experience conducting supply chain or third-party risk assessments. 

• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, economics, business, finance, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline.
