Mobile Software Developer - (Remote from Colombia)

We are one of the first work-from-anywhere companies with 2,000+ team members utilizing our virtual office called eXp World. This role is work-from-anywhere in Colombia.

As a Mobile Software Developer, you’ll be an essential part of our International IT team. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, primarily within the Nexus platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business stakeholders, and senior developers, to deliver scalable, maintainable, and robust applications.

• →Design, build, and maintain the company's mobile application across the supported platforms (iOS, Android, or both)
• →Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• →Translate designs, wireframes, and product requirements into functional features
• →Implement and consume APIs to connect the app with backend services and third-party integrations
• →Fix bugs, resolve crashes, and address performance and stability issues
• →Monitor app performance and optimize speed, responsiveness, memory use, and battery consumption
• →Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• →Keep the app current with new OS versions, device types, and platform requirements
• →Manage the build, release, and deployment process to the App Store and Google Play
• →Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play submission guidelines and policies
• →Handle versioning, rollouts, and post-release monitoring
• →Work with product, design, QA, and backend teams to define and ship features
• →Participate in code reviews, planning, and technical discussions
• →Document technical decisions, architecture, and processes for the team
• →Implement secure coding practices and protect user data
• →Ensure the app meets relevant privacy and data-protection requirements
• →Stay current on mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks
• →Recommend improvements to the app's architecture, codebase, and user experience

• Strong organizational skills and attention to process management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem solving ability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience from coding bootcamps or certifications).
• 1-2 years of software development experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working with mobile platforms.
