Responsibilities

→Lead and participate in bridge and roadway structure condition assessments.
→Plan and develop schematic/geometric layouts for new structures.
→Perform structural analysis and design calculations in compliance with Canadian design codes.
→Utilize advanced software tools such as STAAD, Altair Suite, and StructurePoint Suite for structural design.
→Collaborate with drafting teams to prepare construction drawings and details.
→Conduct material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and life-cycle analyses.
→Assist in preparing construction specifications and design briefs.
→Support construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and RFIs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
4–8 years of experience in bridge design and evaluation.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in a Canadian province, with intent to register in New Brunswick (Mandatory).
Experience with OSIM bridge inspections or similar standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
