IB Diploma Programme Coordinator

We're seeking a passionate DP Coordinator that can lead the strategy, administration and teaching of the IB Diploma Programme, keeping it fully aligned with IBO standards, and teaches a reduced timetable. Key responsibilities Act as the school’s official liaison with the IBO and maintain all programme documentation Manage internal assessments, external exams, IBIS entries and coursework deadlines Lead programme evaluation and self-study preparation Establish DP policies on academic honesty, assessment, language and SEN Oversee TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS, including EE supervision and CAS tracking Work with PYP and MYP coordinators so students transition smoothly into the DP Teach a reduced DP timetable Track student progress and support Grade 9 and 10 students moving into the DP Work with counsellors on university pathways and course selection Chair DP faculty meetings, lead professional development and mentor new DP teachers Carry out classroom visits with HoDs to monitor assessment standards Run parent workshops and information evenings The person A passionate educator focused on holistic, high-achieving outcomes Collaborative, positive and solution-focused Empathetic and student-centred Highly organised and calm under pressure with admin, data and compliance Requirements Degree plus a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or international equivalent) Formal IBDP training Extensive IB DP teaching and assessment experience Leadership experience in a secondary setting, ideally in curriculum coordination or as a HoD Excellent written and spoken English Benefits Competitive salary Housing provided or covered by an allowance Comprehensive international health insurance Relocation and annual flights Reduced tuition for dependent children Visa and work permit support
