Safety Engineer - Structural / Occupant - CAE

Essential: • 3-7 years of relevant technical experience in Automobile industry with widespread domain knowledge • A foundational 1-2 years of hands-on experience in developing and integrating Safety FE Models (covering full vehicle, subsystem, and component levels). • Additionally, 2+ years of experience performing Sled and Full Vehicle occupant simulations focused on achieving 5-star frontal or side impact ratings in global consumer safety programs (US NCAP / Euro NCAP). • Proficiency in Primer, ANSA, and LS-DYNA is mandatory. • Strong engineering fundamentals, with a postgraduate degree preferred • Solid understanding of Classical and Applied Mechanics, particularly Strength of Materials • Strong grasp of physics fundamentals and logical reasoning to predict, analyze, and troubleshoot complex non-linear crash events.

• B.E, B.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile), M.E, M.Tech Preferable

Desirable: • Exposure to Human Body Model (HBM) based simulations in sled / vehicle level. • Experience with scripting and AI tools is a plus. • Good working knowledge on metals, composite parts and failure analysis • Understanding of Cross functional performance requirements • Experience in providing design proposals, interaction with design engineers in implementing the proposals • Experience working with OEMs in Vehicle Safety
