Development Associate, Operations (Part-time)

The Development Associate, Operations is a detailed and process-oriented individual responsible for donation processing for the Development department. This position will be involved in leveraging the database to ensure data accuracy and integrity across fundraising efforts in partnership with various Development team members.

The Development Associate, Operations is a gift processor and supports the general operations of the Development office.

• →Entering donations into the CRM, updating membership records, and serving as primary contact with the Development staff to ensure donor intent and proper coding of gifts.
• →Ensure data integrity and accuracy by updating and reconciling all donor/constituent information.
• →Assist with the completion of reconciliations.
• →Support the maintenance of acknowledgement templates.
• →Provide backup customer service support for the Friends Line and email. Provide backup support for the Development office and other related tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• One to two years’ experience, in the non-profit, fundraising sector preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Quick learner, tech savvy, comfortable learning new skills.
• Non-profit/fundraising database software, Salesforce experience required.
• Team oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management, problem solving and communication skills.

20 hours/week: Monday and Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm and Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break.

Schedule may have flexibility.
