About the Role
~1 min readThis is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician who enjoys working autonomously, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a diverse range of automated access solutions across VIC. You will work from a fully equipped company service vehicle and be the face of FAAC Technologies for many of our customers. As such, professionalism, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset are essential.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on automated access equipment.
- →Perform inspections, testing, commissioning, and technical assessments.
- →Provide customers with technical advice and product support.
- →Maintain service vehicle stock levels, tools, and equipment.
- →Complete service documentation and reports accurately and on time.
- →Promote and support preventative maintenance and service agreement programs.
Requirements
~1 min readExperience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Automatic doors and gate automation systems
- Boom gates, sliding gates, swing gates, and bollards
- Speed gates and pedestrian access control devices
- Parking and vehicle access systems
- Access control and security integration solutions
- Electrical troubleshooting and fault finding
- Field service or maintenance environments
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar service technician or maintenance role
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- An Electrical Fitter Licence or Restricted Electrical Work Licence (minimum requirement)
