About the Role

UK-based HR leader who will serve as the primary HR Business Partner for our UK organisation as well as driving strategic, HRBP led global initiatives.

This person will be a key member of the UK leadership team, the main HR partner supporting the Head of International, and the voice of UK employees in all people-related matters. They will lead talent management, performance, and organisational effectiveness efforts in the UK. In addition, the role will own strategic HRBP projects that improve processes, enhance engagement, and support effective decision-making across the HRBP function.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of HRBP specific business partner experience, exceptional stakeholder management, strong analytical skillset and the ability to deliver both in-the-moment guidance and long-term impact.

Responsibilities

Senior HRBP

  • Serve as the primary HRBP for the UK, partnering closely with the Head of International and the UK leadership team to provide coaching and guidance on organisational health, talent planning, workforce strategy, and manager capability.
  • Act as the voice of the UK in people decisions, ensuring regional context and needs are incorporated into strategy, processes, and programs.
  • Partner with leaders to drive effective talent management, including performance cycles, career development, promotions, organisational design, and succession planning.
  • Lead end-to-end employee relations matters for the UK, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant processes.
  • Provide coaching to managers and employees to promote a culture of accountability, empathy, and high performance.
  • Support performance management cases, development plans, and escalations with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Champion Faire’s culture within the UK, ensuring strong communication, engagement, and alignment across teams.
  • Partner on engagement survey action planning and retention initiatives across International
  • Guide leaders and employees through organisational change, delivering clear communication plans and supporting effective adoption.
  • Leverage people data and insights to influence decision-making, identify trends, and proactively address organisational risks or opportunities.
  • Maintain strong HR governance, ensuring documentation, compliance, and internal processes are followed appropriately.
  • Own day-to-day UK HR operational needs in partnership with the broader People Operations and HR Centers of Excellence teams. 
  • Advise on UK-specific requirements for HR programs across immigration, benefits, leaves and accommodations.

Strategic Projects Lead

  • Support the Head of HRBPs and broader HRBP team on strategic initiatives including OKR tracking, ongoing retention and org design activities, updates to performance process and philosophy and manager education materials as well as acting as the voice of the HRBP team on change management projects that span across various teams.
  • Lead Project management for cross functional initiatives as required.
  • Stay closely informed on the evolution of AI and emerging HR/People-tech tooling in the market.
  • Regularly experiment with new AI tools and technologies to identify opportunities that improve HRBP workflows, enhance manager enablement, or streamline people processes.
  • Partner on the launch of new AI tools globally with key x-functional teams, including developing rollout plans and gathering feedback.
  • Partner with key internal teams to influence product/tooling roadmaps and ensure solutions are aligned to business needs and scalable for the UK and broader International organisation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HRBP workflows, strengthen manager enablement, and enhance how people processes operate globally.
  • Ensure key trackers are updated, maintained, and optimised for usability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5y+ of HRBP specific experience supporting senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions
  • UK employment law expertise
  • Understanding of HR practices across performance, talent management, employee relations, and organisational design
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate people data effectively
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
  • Proven experience in driving cross functional projects 
  • High empathy with the ability to balance employee experience and business needs
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in handling sensitive matters
  • Proven AI fluency
  • Flexibility to work across multiple timezones
  • [Nice to have] Experience supporting international or multi-region teams
  • [Nice to have] Familiarity with high-growth tech, marketplaces, or startup environments.

UK London: The pay range for this role is £75,000 and £103,500 per year 

This role will also be eligible for benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
