Your Role:

The Manager, PAR Commercial Operations & Governance is a senior leadership role within the PAR Business team, with dual ownership over China customer relationship management and the PAR team’s local compliance and governance function. This person will take strategic ownership of a defined portfolio of China-based customers and dealer partners — building high-trust relationships, overseeing commercial operations, and ensuring consistent execution across the account lifecycle. In parallel, this role leads the PAR team’s governance mandate, designing and maintaining the compliance infrastructure necessary to meet local regulatory requirements.

This is a senior, externally-facing role that requires a mature balance of commercial acumen, operational rigor, and compliance expertise. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing complex customer relationships in China-facing business environments, as well as a working familiarity with local compliance obligations in a B2B commercial context. Work location is El Segundo, CA; regular coordination with China-based contacts is expected, and some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. China Customer Relationship Management & Strategic Account Ownership
  • Own the commercial relationship with an assigned portfolio of China-based customers and dealer partners, serving as the senior point of contact for strategic and operational matters.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with key customer and partner stakeholders, positioning FF as a reliable and valued long-term business partner.
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategic check-ins with assigned accounts, identifying growth opportunities, surfacing risks, and driving joint action plans.
  • Act as an internal advocate for China customers and partners — representing their needs, priorities, and feedback in cross-functional discussions and leadership forums.
  • Manage escalations with professionalism and urgency, coordinating resolution across internal teams and maintaining customer confidence throughout.
  1. Commercial Operations Management & Performance Tracking
  • Own the end-to-end management of China PAR (investor) accounts, including business negotiation, contract execution, payment tracking, incentive claims, and settlement procedures.
  • Design and maintain robust tracking systems and reporting frameworks that provide real-time visibility into account status, commercial commitments, and operational health.
  • Prepare and present regular account performance reviews to PAR leadership, delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial operations workflows, identifying and resolving systemic inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution across the commercial lifecycle.
  1. Local Compliance Strategy & Governance Leadership
  • Lead the PAR team’s local compliance function, owning the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compliance processes required to meet regulatory and internal governance standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Legal, Finance, and external compliance stakeholders on all matters related to local regulatory obligations affecting China customer operations.
  • Build and maintain a robust compliance documentation infrastructure — including filing systems, audit trails, and version-controlled records — that supports regulatory review and internal oversight.
  • Monitor developments in relevant regulatory frameworks and proactively assess their implications for PAR commercial operations, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead the preparation of compliance reports and governance summaries for PAR leadership, regulators, and internal audit functions as required.
  1. Partner Onboarding & Qualification Oversight
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new China-based partners, setting standards for qualification, KYC, documentation, and initial commercial setup.
  • Ensure all new partners are onboarded in full compliance with FF’s contractual and regulatory requirements, with a consistent and professional experience.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding frameworks and partner-facing documentation that can scale with the growth of the China dealer network.
  1. Cross-functional Leadership & Internal Coordination
  • Lead cross-functional coordination for China account management and compliance activities, ensuring clear ownership, timely handoffs, and consistent communication across teams.
  • Represent the PAR Commercial Operations & Governance function in internal leadership discussions, providing strategic input on China market operations and regulatory matters.
  • Mentor and support junior team members on account management practices, compliance protocols, and professional communication standards.
  • Contribute to PAR-wide strategic initiatives as directed by leadership, drawing on deep expertise in China customer operations and governance.
