Fellow is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join our Operations & Quality team. This role oversees the quality systems across our factories, ensuring every product that ships meets our standards. The ideal candidate is proactive and independent, with broad experience across manufacturing, metrology, and supplier management, along with strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Establish and maintain quality control plans for our production lines
- →Build strong supplier relationships that support daily operations, grounded in trust, clear communication, and mutual accountability
- →Work independently, visiting suppliers regularly to conduct audits, review testing, and support development
- →Review and approve quality-related procedures, including SOPs, SIPs, and MSOPs
- →Qualify new suppliers through quality system audits and Lean Six Sigma assessments
- →Audit existing suppliers and coach them toward stronger quality systems
- →Get involved early on new product introductions, leading design reviews, risk assessments, and qualification, through onsite production line reviews and final sign-off for mass production
- →Partner closely with engineering and product design on development activities such as spec qualification, PFMEA/DFMEA, and reliability testing
- →Analyze data and share clear, actionable summaries with the team
- →Identify and respond to manufacturing quality issues (8D/RCCA), including quarantining and sorting affected parts or products as needed
- →Drive suppliers to resolve quality issues from the production line and from customers, using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and DOE
- →Lead CTQ (Critical to Quality) implementation at supplier sites, using FMEA, control plans, MSA, CPK, SPC, and error-proofing to standardize and improve their processes
- →Support cross-functional teams on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
- →Drive supplier scorecard performance (CTQ, Lean, PPM) to hit annual KPIs
- →Apply DOE, process FMEA, and other industry-standard tools to get ahead of process risks and fine-tune parameters
- →Coordinate with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams on PCN review, approval, or disapproval
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years of experience manufacturing electrical consumer products, including at least 8 years in quality management
- Confident English communicator, comfortable leading calls, writing clear reports, and delivering presentations
- Track record leading and managing relationships with contract manufacturers; experience in consumer goods or home appliances is a plus
- Comfortable working independently under pressure across multiple product categories, with sharp problem-solving instincts
- Hands-on experience across the product development cycle, including EVT, DVT, and PVT
- Certified as an ISO 9001 internal auditor or Lead Auditor, or equivalent auditing experience
- Strong command of core quality tools, including PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA, and APQP, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus

The salary range for this position is 35K - 45K RMB monthly plus bonus & equity. We intentionally publish salary ranges to promote transparency and set clear expectations. Final compensation is determined based on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills, expertise, scope of previous work, demonstrated impact, and internal equity. As a result, not every candidate will be hired at the top of the range.
