POSITION SUMMARY:

The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining efficient material flow throughout the warehouse while supporting administrative functions related to inventory control, shipping, receiving, and packaging. This self-starting role ensures inventory accuracy, timely movement of materials, proper documentation of warehouse transactions, and compliance with company safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
• Unload, move, store, and stage raw materials, components, and finished goods
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records through SAP and Internal systems
• Process shipping and receiving transactions and maintain documentation
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damaged materials
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse process enhancements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment
• Basic math and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and self-starting with a strong ethical and moral basis

PHYSICAL/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, and wear PPE for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, grip, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
