Assistant Professor, Accounting

The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Accounting Department, beginning Fall 2027 and subject to budget approval. Candidates must have/be near completion of a terminal degree. Professional certification in accounting is required. All teaching and research areas will be considered. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to innovation and demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom, and quality research.

Founded in 1942, Fairfield University is a Jesuit, Catholic institution, located in the scenic shoreline community of Fairfield, CT, one hour from New York City along Long Island Sound. The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University is AACSB International accredited and is ranked among U.S. News’ and Princeton Review’s best undergraduate and graduate on-campus business schools. The Dolan School of Business educates approximately 52% of the University’s undergraduate students and 27% of the University’s graduate students. Accounting is the second largest major in the school.
