The IT Project Manager & PMO Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and successfully delivering IT projects across the organization. The role ensures transparency, governance, and alignment of project activities with business objectives while maintaining a consolidated overview of the project portfolio.
As a central point of coordination, the position provides management with accurate project reporting, risk visibility, resource planning, and portfolio insights. The role combines hands-on project management with PMO responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and according to quality expectations.
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery and closure
- Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions
- Provide a consolidated overview of all ongoing projects and initiatives
- Prepare regular project portfolio reports and executive dashboards for management
- Facilitate project steering committees and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure project governance standards, methodologies, and documentation are followed
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Support prioritization and capacity planning across the project portfolio
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and standards
- Maintain transparency and traceability of project status, actions, and deliverables
- Support business case preparation, project initiation, and project closure activities
Requirements

- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in IT Project Management and/or PMO functions
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, applications, integrations, and operational environments
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Knowledge of project management frameworks such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe

- Strong project planning, coordination, and organizational skills
- Excellent risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities
- Ability to create meaningful portfolio reporting and executive summaries
