I&E Technician

The I&E Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and instrumentation equipment used in oil and gas operations. This position supports safe, reliable operations through preventive maintenance, equipment testing, and repairs.

• →Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• →Install, calibrate, and maintain pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments.
• →Maintain motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related equipment.
• →Troubleshoot PLC, RTU, and SCADA systems, including wiring, signals, and communication issues.
• →Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• →Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment testing.
• →Follow lockout/tagout procedures and applicable electrical safety requirements.
• →Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions.
• →Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

• 2+ yrs. of I&E experience required.
• Working knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Experience using multimeters, calibration equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with hazardous locations and applicable electrical codes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between work locations as required.
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
