Research field service market trends, buyer pain points, and competitive dynamics to bring credible context to everything you write.

Write with strict adherence to Field Nation's brand style guide and editorial standards, maintaining consistency in voice, tone, and terminology across all content types.

Partner with the Content and Product Marketing teams to ensure all content is accurate, on-message, and aligned to approved positioning before publication.

Perform ongoing audits to identify content that needs updating due to positioning changes, product updates, or compliance requirements, and make those changes.

Manage your own production schedule: track assignments, hit deadlines consistently, and communicate proactively when priorities shift or timelines are at risk.

Track content performance against engagement and traffic benchmarks; share your perspective on what's working and what isn't, and recommend optimizations.

Use approved AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining the human oversight and editorial judgment that Field Nation's content standards require.
8+ years of content marketing or editorial experience within B2B SaaS companies that sell to enterprise or mid-market buyers and whose products and content primarily target English-speaking markets (US, UK, Canada, Australia, or similar). Not developer tools, consumer apps, or small-business-focused products.
A portfolio that includes published customer case studies and long-form content written for a senior B2B audience (VP, Director, or C-suite). Applications without writing samples will not be considered.
Demonstrated ability to research and write about complex technology topics for a non-technical business audience.
Experience conducting customer interviews and translating business outcomes, operational complexity, and technical context into clear, credible narratives.
Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple concurrent content assignments, hit deadlines in a fast-moving environment, and maintain quality under volume.
Comfort working within a defined editorial framework (brand voice standards, style guides, content governance processes) and producing work that meets that bar without close supervision.
Exceptional written English: clear, concise, and purposeful, with the ability to adapt tone and register to the content type and audience.
