About the Role
~1 min read- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients across a variety of units, including ICU, Med/Surg, and Emergency Department (ED).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs and create individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct care and evaluate patient progress throughout their treatment episode.
- Provide patient and family education, focusing on self-care, lifestyle changes, and long-term health management.
- Develop specialized skills in cardiac care, telemetry monitoring, and critical care.
- Offer emotional support and promote comfort in a Healing Environment.
- 2 West: Specializes in cardiac care, telemetry monitoring, and medical/surgical conditions in adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- 3 North: Provides care for patients with medical conditions across the adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
- ICU: Develop expertise in life support systems, cardiac monitoring, and critical care interventions.
- ED: Apply skills in managing both life-threatening and routine emergency situations.
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Registered Nursing.
- Licensure: Current New York State RN License.
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification may be obtained during Clinical Orientation.
- Basic Coronary Care certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- CPI certification must be completed within 1 year of hire. Both CPI and Coronary Care courses are provided through Finger Lakes Health’s Educational Department.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience.
- Float pool experience is preferred, but not required.

~1 min read✓Hourly Rate Based on Experience: $43.47 - $54.38 (based on experience).
