Are you a new graduate Registered Nurse ready to build your nursing career in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment?
Our Critical Care New Graduate RN Residency Program – Emergency Department is designed to provide newly licensed nurses with the education, clinical experience, mentorship, and support needed to confidently transition from nursing school into professional practice.
You’ll work alongside experienced Emergency Department nurses and providers while developing the skills necessary to care for patients with a wide variety of medical, surgical, and emergent conditions.

Comprehensive orientation and structured clinical training

Support from experienced Emergency Department nurses and preceptors

Hands-on experience caring for patients across the lifespan

Development of emergency assessment and prioritization skills

Exposure to a wide variety of medical and traumatic emergencies

Training in emergency interventions, patient stabilization, and critical thinking

Opportunities to develop skills in rapid assessment and clinical decision-making

Ongoing support throughout your transition to independent practice

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing required.

New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon employment/start of clinical practice.

Newly licensed RNs and recent nursing graduates are encouraged to apply.

BLS required.

Additional certifications and Emergency Department competencies will be completed as required during orientation and residency training.
