Industrial Electrician I

• Preventive Maintenance & Basic Repairs: Perform basic electrical PMs, clean/inspect control cabinets, check motor connections, and replace worn electrical/mechanical components.
• Installation & Wiring: Assist senior technicians in pulling wire, running conduit, wiring basic 120V/480V circuits, and mounting sensors or switches.
• Learning Automation & Controls: Gain hands-on exposure to PLCs, VFDs, heat controllers, and motorized actuators while working under the guidance of Senior Electricians.
• Mechanical Assistance: Support the team with basic mechanical maintenance on conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic lines.
• Safety Adherence: Learn and strictly follow site safety standards, including LOTO, PPE requirements, and safe electrical work practices.
• CMMS Logging: Track daily task completion and document work performed in the CMMS.

• 0–2 years of experience or completion of an accredited Industrial Electrical / Automation technical degree or apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC circuits, 3-phase power, motor controls, and electrical safety fundamentals.
• Ability to read basic electrical prints, ladder diagrams, and schematics.
• Eagerness to learn PLCs, instrumentation, temperature controls, and complex industrial automation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using power tools, hand tools, and testing meters.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school diploma/certificate strongly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and commitment to working safely in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s license; must supply basic hand tools (or willingness to obtain them upon hire).

Meet the Hiring Manager, Brian Jarvis.
