Senior Device Engineer

Most enterprises run firewalls from multiple vendors alongside cloud security groups and microsegmentation platforms, and no single console can say whether it all works together. We believe policy is the control plane for network security: it defines what the environment should do, and the infrastructure carries it out. FireMon gives security teams one place to see, govern, and prove that their policy is doing what they intend, across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments 

The Device Engineer will work with Product Management and other Engineers to design, develop, and maintain network device integration software.

• Develop support for emerging next-generation technologies in the networking security space
• Develop device integration solutions for products from Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint, and others 
• Gather technical requirements for integrating with the security devices through administrator guides, user guides, CLI guides, and other available resources
• Learn the inner workings of the security device and convert that logic into a structure that the application can use
• Work closely with the sales engineering team to prioritize device pack development based on the needs of prospects and customers
• Occasionally participate in customer and support calls to understand and troubleshoot device-related issues
