Wound Care/Wound VAC Nurse (RN /LPN)

• Following MD's order for wound care and treatment
• Creating, updating, and managing care plans
• Performing specialized procedures (e.g., removing dead tissue/debridement, cleaning wounds, and bandaging)
• Working with a multidisciplinary team to plan skin care interventions
• Performing diabetic foot care
• Educating patients and their caregivers on wound care procedures and preventative measures
• Staying up to date with current wound treatments
• Planning and executing care plans for patients exhibiting skin complications

 Must have an

• Active and unencumbered RN/ LPN license
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• BLS
