 For Drafting services in the Engineering area.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, engineering, or life sciences), or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish and English.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish).
• Project Management skills.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Experience in:
  • Utilities systems within a regulated manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • CAD drafting software, including MicroStation and AutoCAD (conversion between the two).
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and as-built documents.
  • Document/version control systems (e.g., IDEA) for engineering drawing management.
  • Field verification and red-line/as-built drawing incorporation.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Build and maintain a digital matrix recording all facility plans by building, project, product, date, discipline, and review status
• Digitize hardcopy plans for buildings in service to streamline access to technical information
• Convert plans from MicroStation to AutoCAD for buildings in service
• Maintain the engineering database and related facility & process documentation
• Perform field verification of drawings as requested by project teams
• Finalize as-built record drawings, incorporating red-mark revisions as needed
• Process change request drawing revisions upon project request
• Gather field data for as-built red-marked drawings across disciplines (architectural, layout, piping, P&ID, electrical, HVAC)
• Update Evacuation Route Layouts as required
• Provide drawing control services in accordance with CAD-Compliance standards (training provided/required)
• Manage document (version) control of drawings across disciplines for active buildings using IDEA
• Prepare drafting projects, including drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches
• Update facility drawings to ensure accuracy for regulatory agency submissions
• Continuously audit current company designs, identifying and correcting inaccuracies
• Deliver strong customer service across all stakeholders, prioritizing requests effectively
• Update plant-wide drawings to support regulatory submissions and other requests
• Create and update drawings in response to Change Control, Engineering Project Requests, or Work Requests
• Prepare requests for reproduction of facility/process drawings and documents
• Examine blueprints, drawings, and as-builts for completeness and accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Engineering/Maintenance
• Consult closely with engineers on model accuracy, design, and as-built drawing standards
