As a Tenancy Management Officer, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Housing Team to deliver an outstanding service and create communities people are proud to live in.
You’ll be the first point of contact for tenants, triaging queries, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions wherever possible. You’ll help reduce demand on Housing Officers by resolving queries efficiently while ensuring customers receive a professional and empathetic service.

Provide administrative support to the Housing Team

Act as the first point of contact for tenant queries, triaging and resolving where possible

Offer advice and make decisions to support tenants effectively
- →
Escalate complex cases to appropriate teams with clear and detailed information
- →
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tenant interactions
- →
Communicate professionally, promptly, and with empathy
- →
Develop knowledge of housing management, legislation, and compliance requirements
- →
Support the delivery of a simple, effective, and compliant housing service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex information in a clear and engaging way
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks based on risk
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
A customer-focused approach with empathy and professionalism
GCSE (or equivalent) or relevant experience in a similar role
