Join Flexport's dynamic Compliance Program as the Manager, Supply Chain Protection & Loss Intelligence. This critical role serves as the single point of accountability for both supply chain protection and loss prevention across Flexport's entire footprint — offices, fulfillment centers, and partner sites worldwide. The Manager will be responsible for protecting Flexport employees, visitors, assets, and facilities through the design and execution of security programs, while simultaneously driving a proactive loss prevention strategy across the Omni fulfillment network.
Day-to-day, this means managing a team of 50+ contracted security officers across multiple locations, overseeing electronic security infrastructure (CCTV, access control), conducting investigations, and managing the security ticketing system. Strategically, it means building the analytical foundation to identify loss trends and security gaps before they become incidents, authoring the policies and SOPs that standardize how Flexport protects its people and assets globally, and ensuring every new facility launches with security infrastructure and protocols in place from day one.
You will partner closely with operations, facilities, and leadership to design, implement, and scale security programs for existing and future locations, ensuring our people, assets, and reputation are safeguarded as Flexport rapidly expands into new markets. This is a unique opportunity to build a unified security strategy, moving beyond reactive incident management to a data-driven, proactive approach.
- Develop and maintain security and loss prevention metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to measure program effectiveness across all facilities and regions
- Analyze incident data to identify trends, loss patterns, root causes, and emerging risks — translating findings into actionable recommendations for leadership
- Build reporting frameworks that support data-driven resource allocation, vendor performance evaluation, and security investment decisions
- Provide regular analytical reports to senior management on security posture, loss prevention outcomes, and program ROI
- Author, maintain, and enforce global security and loss prevention policies, ensuring consistency across all Flexport locations and compliance with local regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction
- Develop and implement SOPs for key security scenarios (Active Shooter, Emergency Response, High Value Cage procedures, Product Disposal, etc.)
- Create site-level security plans for new and existing facilities, tailored to local risk profiles and operational requirements
- Design and deliver training programs across physical security and loss prevention topics (emergency response, office security, travel security, incident reporting, etc.)
- Develop audit frameworks and LP checklists for site leads to execute on a recurring basis
- Manage physical security programs across all Flexport facilities globally (offices, warehouses, and partner sites), including new locations as Flexport and the Omni fulfillment network expand into new markets
- Lead security planning and infrastructure stand-up for new facilities and market entries, including site assessments, vendor selection, and system deployment
- Administer and maintain electronic security systems, including CCTV surveillance and access control platforms, and evaluate new technology deployments
- Serve as the crisis management coordinator, providing real-time threat assessments and coordinating emergency response across regions
- Coordinate with HSE, HR, Legal, and Compliance on cross-functional security and safety matters
- Drive loss prevention strategy and investigations for the Omni fulfillment network, including cargo theft, employee theft, unauthorized sellers, workplace violence, and empty package findings
- Manage the security and loss prevention ticketing syste, including triaging, updating, and resolving tickets with accurate documentation
- Identify root causes of supply chain losses and develop recommendations to reduce future risk
- Review, collect, and preserve CCTV evidence to support investigations and legal proceedings
- Manage third-party guard services across all locations, including oversight of 50+ security officers, performance tracking, and operational discipline
- Manage relationships with security integrators and onboard new vendors as required for geographic expansion
- Oversee vendor contracts, MSAs, and NDAs for all security-related service providers
- Conduct regular business reviews with key vendors and evaluate service delivery against contractual obligations
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a rike that combined physical security or loss prevention responsibilities with data analytics, policy development, or program design. Traditional security experience alone is not sufficient — this role requires a candidate who has built metrics programs, authored policies, or used data to drive security strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage security operations across multiple locations and geographies, including hands-on experience with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control platforms).
- Demonstrated experience building and analyzing security and loss prevention metrics, with comfort working in data platforms and translating incident data into actionable insights and executive-level reporting
- Proven ability to author global policies, SOPs, security plans, and program documentation from scratch.
- Experience managing third-party guard services and security vendor contracts, as well as conducting complex investigations (theft, workplace violence, supply chain security).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, Operations, and Compliance
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to identify root causes and solve problems
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- The opportunity to build and scale global security and loss prevention programs from the ground up in a rapidly expanding, tech-forward logistics company.
- Direct impact on protecting Flexport's people, assets, and reputation across a vast international footprint.
- A collaborative and innovative environment where your data-driven insights will directly inform strategic decisions.
- Exposure to diverse global operations and the chance to work cross-functionally with teams like HSE, HR, Legal, and Trade Compliance.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and the chance to join a company transforming global trade.
