Business excellence Assistant - 1

What a typical day looks like:

Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3
Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc.
Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively
Maintain catalogue of workstations
Ensure good 5S in the work area and implement identified best practices timely
Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems
Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations
Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to use the following tools: pipe cutters, drills, power saws, power tools, manual tools, lean and six sigma tools, etc.
Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams
Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations
Ability to complete office tasks: telephone skills, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation
