We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Large Format Tile Installation Helper to join our Boise, ID branch. This dynamic role services both high-end residential projects and large-scale commercial job sites. Because our reputation for excellence extends throughout the region, this position requires regular travel, including staying out of town for up to a week at a time.

• →Material Handling & Staging: Safely transport, lift, and maneuver fragile, oversized large-format porcelain panels and heavy stone slabs using specialized suction cup frames and rigging.
• →Travel & Site Readiness: Travel regularly with the installation team to regional job sites, staying out of town for a week at a time.
• →Surface Preparation: Prep subfloors, backer boards, and vertical walls to precise flatness tolerances using mechanical leveling systems and waterproofing elements.
• →Adhesive & Mortar Prep: Mix large-format specific thin-set mortars to the exact consistency required for massive heavy panels.
• →Cutting & Fabrication Support: Assist lead installers in scoring, cutting, and drilling oversized tile using rail cutters, grinders, and specialized wet saws.
• →Installation Assistance: Collaborate actively to lift, position, place, and embed panels, ensuring 100% mortar coverage and eliminating air pockets.
• →Site Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace while strictly following OSHA standards and corporate safety protocols.

• Travel Flexibility: Absolute willingness and ability to travel regionally and stay out of town for up to a week at a time.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods handling heavy, awkward materials.
• Experience: Prior experience in construction, masonry, demolition, or tile setting is highly preferred, but we will train the right motivated individual.
• Dependability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is preferred for company travel.

• Competitive wage: $25/hr - $35/hr D.O.E. plus per diem
