Candidates with expertise in neuropsychology are particularly encouraged to apply, although the area of specialization is open.

The successful candidate will serve as a core faculty member in our Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology, which recently received a 10-year reaccreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA). Responsibilities include graduate teaching in clinical psychology, clinical supervision, and the development and maintenance of an active, productive research program that engages and supports doctoral student research. The faculty member is also expected to demonstrate commitment to broad and general training consistent with the Standards of Accreditation.

The successful candidate will teach foundational and specialized courses in the Clinical Psy.D. program and may also teach undergraduate psychology courses. The faculty member is expected to establish and sustain a productive program of applied research, demonstrated through scholarly publications and other meaningful contributions to the literature and practice of clinical psychology. The successful candidate will actively mentor doctoral students in research, direct doctoral research projects, and pursue opportunities for external research funding as appropriate.

Core clinical faculty contribute to the ongoing functioning and continuous improvement of the program through activities such as student recruitment and admissions, annual student evaluations, and the evaluation of clinical oral and written comprehensive examinations. Additional responsibilities may include professional service to the program, university, and discipline.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related area of psychology from an APA-accredited program, have completed an APA-accredited internship, and be licensed (or license eligible) as a psychologist in Florida. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
