👩‍💻 About The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Flower, you will be at the forefront of the energy transformation. You will work on systems that manage energy flexibility, integrating cutting-edge software solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team and guide them on their path towards finding a solution. You will help ensure system reliability, security, and performance through best coding practices and architecture decisions.

  Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions for our energy platform.

  Work with technologies such as Go, AWS, IoT Core and Databricks.

  Build and optimize high-performance backend services and data processing pipelines as well as a fleet of IoT devices.

  Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers from across the organisation.

  Lead code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentoring other engineers.

  Be an active part of the culture, with focus on continuous improvement and technical and operational excellence.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, working with backend development and distributed systems.

• Proficient in Go, with experience in designing scalable services and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, and IEC104.

• Familiarity with AI development tools and practices as they evolve.

• Experience with modern DevOps principles such as CI/CD, IaC, and observability tooling like OpenTelemetry.

• Passionate about working on impactful projects that contribute to a sustainable future.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

📍 Location

Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm, just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
