Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide expert technical support to sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding FLSmidth's separation equipment and solutions.
- →Support Sales & Service areas with the execution of Separations Service Line strategy, including support with high-impact opportunities and new opportunities within the region.
- →Provide technical and commercial input to the proposals team in preparing high quality proposals.
- →Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and areas for improvement in existing offerings.
- →Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through launch and end-of-life, for assigned Separation products.
- →Develop and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and product documentation for internal and external audiences.
- →Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
- →Participate in customer visits, site assessments, and commissioning activities to troubleshoot issues and optimize product performance.
- →Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable product development initiatives.
- →Support the creation of marketing collateral and sales tools for Separation products.
- →Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to separation processes.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or applications engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry, with a focus on separation technologies (e.g., Flotation, Thickeners and Precious Metals Recovery equipment).
- Strong understanding of Separation principles, equipment, and their application in various mineral processing circuits.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 40-60%).
