Fortius Clinic is pleased to offer an exceptional Clinical and Research Fellowship in Complex Knee Surgery. This six-month

(July 5th - Dec 21st 2027) fellowship provides advanced subspecialty training in knee surgery, combining high-volume clinical exposure with dedicated research opportunities.

The successful Fellow will work closely with the Knee Unit consultants at Fortius Clinic, gaining exposure to all aspects of modern knee reconstruction. All consultants perform robot-assisted knee arthroplasty, with many specialising in soft tissue knee surgery, and two consultants holding specialist expertise in revision knee arthroplasty.

The fellowship is designed to prepare candidates for a future career as a specialist knee surgeon. By the end of the programme, the Fellow should be able to confidently plan and undertake knee arthroplasty procedures with appropriate supervision while developing expertise in robotic-assisted techniques and complex knee pathology.

There is no on-call commitment and no trauma service requirement, allowing the Fellow to focus exclusively on elective knee surgery and academic development.
