TEMP to PERM Radiator Technician II

Responsible for the preparation, assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment of industrial radiators, heat exchangers, oil coolers, and cooling system components utilized in oilfield, power generation, gas compression, and industrial applications. Performs shipping and receiving activities, equipment labeling, quality inspections, and product testing while ensuring compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures. Utilizes hand tools, air tools, precision measuring devices, and shop equipment to support the repair and manufacturing of custom cooling solutions.

• →Assemble, disassemble, inspect, diagnose, repair, and refurbish industrial radiators, modular core radiators, oil coolers, heat exchangers, and associated cooling system components.
• →Perform leak testing, pressure testing, cleaning, flushing, and inspection of cooling system assemblies to verify product integrity and performance.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and assembly instructions.
• →Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving cooling systems and identify component failures requiring repair or replacement.
• →Operate hand tools, air tools, power tools, forklifts, hoists, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• →Perform preparation and installation of cooling system components, including cores, tanks, fans, shrouds, piping, and supporting hardware.
• →Complete shipping, receiving, packaging, and documentation of repaired and manufactured products.
• →Stamp, label, tag, and document equipment in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• →Conduct quality inspections throughout the repair and assembly process to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• →Maintain accurate repair records, inspection reports, and production documentation.
• →Assist with training and mentoring Technician I employees and support onboarding of new personnel.
• →Maintain housekeeping and organization of shop, workstations, tools, and equipment.
• →Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• →Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• →Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of industrial radiators, cooling systems, heat exchangers, oil coolers, and related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, repair procedures, and technical documents.
• Understanding of pressure testing, leak detection, and mechanical inspection techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience operating hand tools, air tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for documenting repairs, inspections, and inventory transactions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 pounds and occasionally lift heavier materials with proper lifting equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical, vocational, or industrial maintenance training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in radiator repair, heat exchanger service, industrial mechanical assembly, oilfield equipment repair, manufacturing, maintenance, or related mechanical trades.
• Experience with industrial cooling systems, pressure testing, welding support activities, or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, or industrial service environment preferred.
