As an Audit Associate/Senior Associate, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality audit engagements from planning through to completion. Working alongside experienced team members and under the guidance of your superiors, you will gain hands-on exposure across different aspects of the audit process while developing your technical and professional skills.


You may also have the opportunity to work directly with clients and understand their business and needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your audit experience, take on greater responsibilities, and grow your career within a collaborative and supportive team.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify client’s business and key risks.
  • Analyse the impact of changing business environment on client’s business.
  • Implement and provide input to engagement plan.
  • Perform assurance engagement in compliance with professional standards.
  • Obtain evidence to corroborate information.
  • Harness technology to gather and analyse data.
  • Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues.
  • Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework.
  • Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the cross functional and culturally diverse team.
  • Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance.
  • Act in accordance with professional standards when providing assurance services.
  • Identify ethical conflicts in the work environment.


This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are hiring for multiple positions and you may be assigned to support either Australia,  Luxembourg or Singapore. 


Do note that the working hours of the role will be in line with the country office working hours.

Luxembourg: 1pm to 10pm MYT

Australia: 7am to 4pm MYT

Singapore: 8.45am to 5.30pm MYT


Requirements

    • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
    • Minimum 2 – 5 years of relevant experience for the Senior role and 1 – 3 years for the Associate role, preferably from an international accounting firm
    • Commendable analytic and technical skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work independently as well as a team player
