High school education or equivalent experience

One to two years of food service or related work

• Has a working knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation
• Has proven ability to manage multiple priorities with lean resources while delivering high-quality results
• Requires the basic computer skills for online training and managing your own employee profiles
• Is proactive, hands-on and able to operate autonomously
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Has a positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
• Has the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest proactively
• Is energetic and has a professional approach to his/her craft
• Is flexible with his/her schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays

• Offers guests of an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standard of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
• Stocks linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assists in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
• Prepares condiment and garnish items
• Delivers food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Carries out clearing, cleaning and set-up buffets, food stations, tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner and greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service
• Takes guest reservations
• Plates and prepares food items
• Has the ability to provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
• Anticipates guest needs, ascertains satisfaction, and offers suggestions, and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
• Communicates with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attends regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
• Remains calm and alert, especially during emergency situations, heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other employees
• Moves throughout the facility and kitchen area (walk through) to visually monitor and take action to ensure food and Beverage quality and service standard are met

• Describes the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicates guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinates food timings; checks completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transports items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality

• Has the ability to carry and balance a tray

  Has the ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions

• Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
