About the Role

The Laundry Attendant reports directly to the Laundry Manager and is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. This position is also responsible for pressing and the dry cleaning of our guests’ clothes and other items per their requests. This is a physical job that requires heavy lifting and carrying.

The ability to follow proper payroll procedures.

The ability to sort the food and beverage linen and rooms linen.

The ability to operate, wax and clean the ironer.

The ability to feed sheets, table linen napkins, pillowcases and huck towels in the ironer.

The ability to fold and catch linen.

One to two years’ previous experience in Housekeeping or Laundry; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Strong communication skills
