About the role 

As a Learning and Development (L&D) Intern, you will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that enhance employee skills, engagement, and performance. You’ll collaborate with the L&D team and other departments to research learning methods, assist with content creation, coordinate training sessions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 

What you will do 

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of employee training programs and learning initiatives. 

• Take responsibility for the internal marketing and promotion of learning courses across the hotel, ensuring employees are aware of available training opportunities and encouraging participation. 

• Support the creation and distribution of internal communications for People & Culture events and initiatives, including workshops, employee activities, engagement events, and other P&C programs. 

• Assist with scheduling training sessions, managing calendars, coordinating participants, and communicating with internal stakeholders. 

• Help create, update learning materials, presentations, guides, and other training resources. 

• Support the development and organization of onboarding and induction programs for new employees. 

• Assist in maintaining learning and development records, attendance data, and training documentation. 

• Collect and analyze feedback from participants to help evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. 

• Conduct research on learning trends, training methodologies, and professional development opportunities. 

• Support the administration and maintenance of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning platforms. 

• Assist with employee engagement and development initiatives, workshops, and internal events. 

• Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries related to learning and development activities. 

• Provide general administrative support to the L&D/HR team as needed. 

• Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to identify areas for improvement. 

Requirements 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field. 

• Strong interest in learning, employee development, and HR. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong organizational and time-management skills. 

• Strong Marketing Skills 

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. 

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel 

• Proactive, curious, and willing to learn. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders. 

• Fluency in English and spanish ; additional languages are a plus. 

Nice to Have 

• Previous internship, volunteer, or academic experience in HR, training, education, or organizational development. 

• Experience creating presentations, training materials, or other learning content. 

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HR systems. 

• Basic knowledge of instructional design or adult learning principles. 

• Experience with data analysis, surveys, or employee feedback tools.

• Collaboration: Proactive and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively. 

• Technical skills: Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel); experience with LMS platforms or content creation tools such as Canva, Articulate, or Captivate is an advantage. 

• Curiosity: Eagerness to learn about modern L&D strategies, digital tools, and innovative training methodologies. 

• Professionalism: Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility. 

• Legal right to work in Spain.  

Degree: Currently studying Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 

Languages: Fluency in spoken Spanish and English.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
