Security Officer Full Time

A Security/Safety Officer is an employee whose first duty is to assist the Director of Security and the Security staff in the safe and orderly administration of the Resort. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

1) Perform dispatching duties within the Security office to include report writing, key distribution, daily shift log, answering telephone calls, monitoring the Simplex fire alarm system and viewing the closed-circuit television monitors.

2) Perform at least two patrols of the property on foot – to include all buildings, public areas, pools and guest bungalows. Document safety hazards throughout the resort.

3) Respond to medical calls involving guests, visitors or employees on the property. Respond to fire alarm calls in the guest rooms, restaurants and public/back of the house buildings.

4) Respond to locked out guest calls or employee key entries into secure buildings or the storeroom after purchasing hours. Repair malfunctioning door locks and in room safes. Respond to Noise or smoking complaints.

5) Collect, log and distribute lost and found left by guests or visitors on the property. Perform bag checks of employees leaving property.

1. Assist Security Rovers, Greeters or other departments when the need arises.

Education: High School diploma

Experience: Previous Security experience in a hotel environment preferred,

Skills and Abilities: Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, First Responder Certification a plus, Security Officer License Required (as required by the State of Colorado)

Hours required: 8-hour shift; scheduled days and time may vary based upon departmental need.
