DME Customer Representative - PRN

• →Educates customers on proper and safe usage of home medical equipment, ostomy, diabetic, wound care, respiratory equipment to include oxygen, small volume nebulizer. Can trouble shoot equipment problems over the phone
• →Accesses customer needs, measures customers for custom fit, explains safety issues. Responsible for verifying information is correct
• →Keeps current on medicare, medicaid, and insurance payor requirements for equipment and supplies and is able to explain the coverage to customers. Calls insurance for verification as needed
• →Handles customer complaints to resolve issues
• →Assists with ordering/restocking inventory. Answers telephone and takes care of inquiry or referral
• →Accepts orders from physicians and referrals processing proper documentation and processes new orders for billing and delivery of product and services in a timely fashion, making sure all orders are completed and all required documentation is signed and dated
