Director of Guardianship and Rep Payee Services

Family Service Association is seeking a full time (40 hour weekly) Director for the agency’s Guardianship program.
The annualized starting salary range is 70-73K with standard hours of 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday with a partial hybrid remote day time schedule, though coverage hours may vary based on program needs.

The FSA Guardianship program provides corporate guardianship/conservatorship services to elders and individuals with disabilities across Eastern, Massachusetts. 

This position will oversee and supervise all aspects of the Guardianship Program, including Representative Payee services. Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities?  If so, We would love to hear from you!

The Guardianship / Rep Payee Financial Director essential duties and responsibilities;

• Oversight of all staff in Guardianship Program, including management of all functions of Guardianship program including clinical, financial and legal.
• Provide direct oversight of financial staff, Program Attorney and Guardianship Services Coordinator. 
• Responsible for overseeing financial management including bill pay functionality, opening and closing of bank accounts and investments, monitoring of all assets, accountings, etc. 
• Assure revenue streams and receivables align with program budget.
• Responsible for completing reports for agency including audits.
• Assist with initial determination of assets of clients to the extent possible in conjunction with legal and case management components. 
• Provide oversight of applications for MassHealth, Medicare, secondary insurance and long-term care when applicable. 
• Responsible for oversight of financial documents for Probate Court including yearly Court Accountings and Inventories. 
• Provide oversight of required trainings for staff.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of CQI as required by the Agency.  
• Review and sign specific documents designated in Corporate Vote.
• Assist with banking issues designated in Corporate Vote.
• Attend initial court hearing to represent the agency if / when required.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a strong clinical, medical, or human services background.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
