2025-2026 Special Education Paraprofessional

Frontier School of Innovation-Elementary is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will provide support to students with special needs in a classroom setting. You will work closely with teachers and other members of the educational team to help ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Starting hourly salary is $20.02; commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 60 credits of college coursework or an associate's degree
• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with special needs with their academic, social, and emotional needs in the classroom setting
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as directed by the classroom teacher
• Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
• Communicate with parents and other members of the educational team regarding student progress and needs
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
