Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate AI Consultant to join our Data & AI practice. In this role, you will work closely with our clients and technical teams to help design, develop and deploy innovative AI solutions that solve real business challenges.



As a member of FSP's AI Engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services, Microsoft Foundry, OpenAI technologies, Machine Learning platforms and cloud-native development practices.

This is an ideal role for graduates who are passionate about Artificial Intelligence and want to build a career in emerging technologies while gaining broad exposure across multiple AI disciplines.



You will have the opportunity to rotate across a range of areas within our AI capability, including:

  • AI Engineering
  • Machine Learning
  • Agentic AI & AI Agents
  • Generative AI Solutions

You may also gain exposure to:

  • AI Advisory & Consulting
  • AI Solution Architecture
  • Data Science
  • Data Engineering



The role offers exposure to a variety of projects and industries, enabling the development of both technical and consulting skills while helping organisations unlock the value of AI technologies.

Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance. To be eligible for many of our client projects, you should have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years.



Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the wider FSP project team to deliver AI solutions to clients.
  • Assist in defining business requirements and identifying opportunities where AI can improve outcomes.
  • Support the design, development and deployment of AI-powered applications and services.
  • Work alongside Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists and Consultants to build innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native AI products using Microsoft technologies.
  • Support AI solutions through testing, UAT and production deployment.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Share knowledge as part of the FSP technical community



About you

  • Studying towards or have completed a degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Have a passion for Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Curious, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
  • Able to demonstrate foundational programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, Java or similar.
  • Possess an understanding of data structures, databases and software development principles.

Knowledge or experience in the following would be advantageous:

  • Python development
  • Machine Learning concept
  • Generative AI and Large Language Models
  • Azure, cloud technologies or modern software engineering practice
