Requirements
~1 min read- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
- Evaluate levels of speech and language
- Develop and execute treatment plans that address specific student needs
- Document sessions and record data on progress towards IEP goals
- Meet with personnel at the school or district to transmit information about student progress
- Must have a valid California SLP license from the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, or a Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
- Complete a Live Scan Fingerprint with Fullmind
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held
- Experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context
- Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, private/distraction-free workspace
- Knowledge of IDEA and California special education law/Ed Code requirements
- Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
