QA Engineer

We make finding and retaining experienced software talent easy and affordable. Job Description: We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. You will help ensure our software products are reliable, easy to use, and ready for release. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, finding and reporting defects, and building or maintaining automated test scripts. Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Create, review, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories. Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts for web applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing. Test APIs using tools such as Postman or similar tools. Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Support release testing and provide clear test reports. Help improve test processes, test coverage, and automation practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Requirements Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in QA, with both manual and automation testing experience. Strong experience creating and executing test cases and test plans. Experience with Agile or Scrum development environments. Experience testing web applications; mobile testing experience is a plus. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with test automation tools preferably Playwright and Selenium. Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools. Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Pytest, or similar. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Git and version control practices. Basic SQL knowledge for database testing is preferred. Experience with Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar test and defect management tools. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setup. Strong collaboration skills when working with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
