Bun Shipping Material Handler

Responsibilities:
- Stage and load buns by pulling from stock according to shipping orders. - Unload, tag, and locate incoming buns to bun storage. - Organize buns by run numbers, foam type, and size - Deliver buns to shipping and manufacturing. - Control and monitor inventories by performing cycle counts and monthly inventories. - Complete safety checklist prior to loading/unloading trailer. - Supply Cutting Line Operator with buns

 

Qualifications: - High school diploa aor equivalent  - Read, Understand and be trained on all related standard operating procedure and work instructions to perform tasks successfully and meet customer and QMS requirements. - For specific quality expectations for this position, reference related SOP's and work instructions - Be qualified to use appropriate measurement device(s) such as ruler, caliper, tape measure, to verify product acceptance and proper machine operation. - Constant visual inspection of materials and product to ensure acceptance - Set aside any material or product that does not meet specification for disposition by appropriate personnel (supervisor, quality representative) - Forklift certification, trailer lock, & must follow appropriate safe work practices - Frequent very heavy pushing/pulling-straightening stacks of buns
