  • Seek Excellence.
  • Be Selective To Be Effective.
  • Be Highly Aligned, Loosely Coupled.
  • Disagree Transparently.
  • Encourage Independent Decision-Making.
  • Build Dream Teams.

You're a product leader who has spent years in the trenches with institutional clients, guiding them through complex technical integrations — and you've come out the other side knowing where those efforts succeed, stall, or fall apart. You understand the client journey across sales, testing, and eventually go live.

As Director, Product Manager Institutional Platform, you will own the end-to-end experience of enterprise clients integrating with Galaxy's institutional custody and trading services. You'll work hand-in-hand with clients' technical and operations teams, as well as Galaxy's engineering, trading, operations, and client service organizations, to make every integration smoother, faster, and more predictable than the last — and you'll turn what you learn into documentation, tooling, and support resources that scale.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • →Own the product experience for enterprise clients using Galaxy's institutional custody and trading platform, from initial technical scoping through go-live and steady-state usage.
  • →Act as the primary product point of contact for clients during integration, translating their requirements across market data, order entry, trade reconciliation and settlement, and post-trade reporting into clear technical and product specifications, always keeping an eye towards best in class UX and repeatable processes.
  • →Partner directly with client engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot integration issues, unblock technical dependencies, and keep complex, multi-workstream onboardings on track.
  • →Collaborate closely with engineering, trading, operations, and compliance to ensure the platform's APIs, workflows, and tooling meet the real-world needs of institutional clients integrating for custody, staking, and trading.
  • →Identify recurring friction points across client onboardings and drive the roadmap for internal tools and platform improvements that reduce integration time and support burden.
  • →Own and continuously improve Galaxy's client-facing documentation — API references, integration guides, runbooks, and FAQs — so clients can self-serve wherever possible.
  • →Define and track metrics for onboarding health (time-to-integration, support ticket volume, client satisfaction) and report progress and blockers to product and business leadership.
  • →Represent the voice of the client internally, ensuring product and engineering prioritization reflects real integration/usage pain points and institutional client needs.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, solutions engineering, or a related technical role, with a meaningful portion of that in digital assets.
  • Direct, hands-on experience managing enterprise clients through technically complex integrations.
  • Familiarity with custody and staking workflows in the digital assets industry, and the operational and security considerations unique to them.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous or highly technical client requirements into clear specifications, documentation, and product priorities.
  • Track record of building or substantially improving client-facing documentation, developer guides, or support resources.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills — comfortable working directly with client technical teams and internal engineering, trading, and operations stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent client relationships without losing sight of the details.
