A full-time position in Accounting and Corporate Finance at Full Professor Level - Research-Driven Profile

The selected candidate will join the Department of Accounting and Corporate Finance and one of the Research Centers (the list is available under this link), contributing to:

• Cutting-edge research in their area of expertise;
• The development of the existing corporate finance research team and to the activities of the related research centers;
• The development and delivery of innovative, action-based learning experiences, closely tied to the professional ecosystem (corporates, startups, NGOs, etc.).

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate (BBA), graduate (Programme Grande École), and master's level programs. Most courses will be taught on the Lyon campus, with possible sessions on other emlyon campuses in France or internationally.

We encourage applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Holder of the Ph.D. in Finance, with research focusing on corporate finance issues
• Proven publication track record in top-tier journals (e.g., FT list)
• Desire and ability to collaborate with researchers within the department
• Desire and ability to support or to supervise doctoral students
• Desire and ability to collaborate on funded research projects
• Interest in pedagogical innovation and contribution to program development

• Desire to work in a collaborative, international environment
• Capacity for institutional service (program management, curriculum design, external representation)
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to relocate to Lyon or surrounding area (relocation support provided)

The candidate will be expected to contribute to and will be regularly evaluated based on three areas of activities: (1) research performance, (2) teaching and student supervision, and (3) institutional service (e.g., administration, service in committees, representation of the school in the media and events).
