We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our Dental Clinic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the clinic's sterilization services, ensuring that all dental instruments, equipment, and materials are processed, sterilized, and maintained according to established infection prevention and control standards.
This role involves working on a rotating shift schedule to support the operational needs of the clinic.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments and equipment
- →Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
- →Perform routine quality assurance and documentation related to sterilization processes
- →Maintain accurate sterilization records and equipment logs
- →Prepare treatment areas and ensure the availability of sterile instruments for clinical procedures
- →Monitor inventory levels of sterilization supplies and report replenishment needs
- →Ensure compliance with infection prevention, health and safety, and clinic protocols
- →Assist with the collection, transportation, and organization of instruments across clinical areas
- →Support dental clinical and laboratory staff as required
Requirements

- Certificate or training in dental assisting, sterilization services, healthcare support, or a related field will be considered an advantage
- Ability to follow protocols accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full fluency in Greek and English languages
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, administrative staff and other professionals
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
