Greenskeeper

The Greenskeeper maintain the aesthetics and playability of the golf course by performing a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance.

 

• Maintains golf course using power and hand tools to perform duties such as: mowing, weeding, edging, course set up, raking sand bunkers, blowing, sod installation, fertilizing, planting flowers and shrubs.
• Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
• Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
• Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

 

• →Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, step cut and rough.
• →Rake sand bunkers by hand or with power rake.
• →String trim around trees, bunkers, flowerbeds, signs, ball washers etc.
• →Golf course set up.
• →Maintain flowerbeds.
• →Aerate greens, tees, fairways, approaches and rough.
• →Assist in small irrigation and drainage projects.
• →Edge cart paths, bunkers, irrigation heads, flowerbeds, and yardage stones.
• →Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
• →Perform any other such duties, as assigned.

1. Minimum Knowledge & Skills: Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service or manual areas
2. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: Previous golf maintenance experience valued but not required.
3. License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Valid Driver's License

• Daily – Pre shift meetings and stand ups.
• Occasionally – Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions.
